These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of RevBay Diagnostic Systems (“RevBay,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including our website, software application, diagnostic tools, customer intake features, reports, estimates, integrations, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By creating an account, accessing, purchasing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. RevBay Services
RevBay is an automotive diagnostic and workflow platform designed to assist automotive repair shops, technicians, service professionals, and authorized users with organizing vehicle information, customer-reported symptoms, diagnostic trouble codes, diagnostic analysis, repair information, reports, estimates, customer authorizations, and repair workflows.
Features may be modified, improved, added, or removed as the platform develops.
2. Diagnostic Information and Professional Judgment
RevBay provides diagnostic assistance and decision-support information based on information supplied by users and available diagnostic data.
RevBay does not replace physical vehicle inspection, manufacturer service information, appropriate testing procedures, or the professional judgment of a qualified automotive technician.
Diagnostic suggestions, possible causes, repair paths, estimates, and AI-generated information must be independently evaluated and verified before repairs, parts replacement, or other actions are performed.
Users remain responsible for determining the appropriate diagnosis, repair procedure, parts, labor, safety procedures, and final repair decisions for each vehicle.
3. User Responsibilities
Users agree to provide accurate information when reasonably possible and to use RevBay only for lawful professional or business purposes.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for activity performed through their accounts.
Repair shops and technicians are responsible for their own services, customer relationships, estimates, repairs, warranties, regulatory obligations, and communications with customers.
4. Customer and Vehicle Information
Users may enter or receive customer contact information, vehicle information, symptoms, diagnostic codes, repair information, notes, and other service-related data through RevBay.
Users must have appropriate authority to submit and process information concerning their customers and vehicles.
RevBay processes information as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Estimates and Repair Authorizations
RevBay may allow users to prepare and share repair estimates and obtain customer authorization.
Estimates generated or transmitted through RevBay are prepared using information supplied or approved by the repair shop or technician. Shops remain responsible for verifying pricing, labor, parts, taxes, fees, repair scope, and other estimate information.
Electronic authorization records are intended to assist with documentation but do not eliminate a shop's responsibility to comply with applicable repair authorization, disclosure, recordkeeping, or consumer-protection requirements.
6. AI-Generated Content
Certain RevBay features use artificial intelligence.
AI-generated information may occasionally be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for a particular vehicle or situation. Users must review and verify relevant information before relying upon it.
RevBay does not guarantee that an AI-generated diagnosis, recommendation, explanation, estimate, or repair path will be correct for every vehicle.
7. Third-Party Services and Integrations
RevBay may integrate with third-party platforms and services, including customer relationship management, communications, payment, authentication, and other software providers.
Use of third-party services may also be governed by the third party's own terms and privacy practices.
RevBay is not responsible for interruptions, modifications, availability, or actions of independent third-party services.
8. Subscriptions and Payments
Certain RevBay features may require a paid subscription, license, or other purchase.
Pricing, billing periods, renewal terms, and included features are presented at the time of purchase.
Users are responsible for maintaining valid payment information where recurring billing applies. Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not ordinarily eliminate access already purchased for the applicable paid period unless otherwise stated or required by law.
Refunds, chargebacks, and payment disputes may result in modification or termination of the corresponding paid entitlement.
9. Acceptable Use
Users may not use RevBay to violate applicable law, interfere with platform security, gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems, distribute malicious software, abuse platform resources, or attempt to reverse engineer or improperly copy protected portions of the Services.
10. Intellectual Property
RevBay and its software, branding, interfaces, workflows, diagnostic systems, original content, and related intellectual property are owned by or licensed to RevBay Diagnostic Systems and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Use of the Services does not transfer ownership of RevBay intellectual property to the user.
11. Availability
We work to maintain reliable access to RevBay but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Maintenance, technical problems, third-party outages, security events, updates, or circumstances outside our reasonable control may temporarily affect availability.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
RevBay does not guarantee that diagnostic information, AI-generated content, repair suggestions, estimates, reports, or other information will be error-free or appropriate for every vehicle or circumstance.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RevBay Diagnostic Systems will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Services.
Automotive professionals remain responsible for inspecting vehicles, verifying diagnoses, following appropriate repair and safety procedures, and determining whether recommended repairs are appropriate.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited under applicable law.
14. Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address violations of these Terms, fraud, abuse, security risks, nonpayment, unlawful activity, or threats to the Services or other users.
Users may discontinue use of RevBay at any time, subject to applicable subscription and billing terms.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as RevBay and its Services evolve. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date.
Continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
16. Contact
Questions regarding these Terms may be submitted through the contact or support information provided on the RevBay Diagnostic Systems website.
